bh1, my guess would be that there's greater demand overall for planes in the summer, so Snowjet lease spare planes from other carriers in the winter.

Satellite do religious pilgrimages in summer I think, i recall they used to run planes to lourdes from manchester which woul dbe great for skiing the pyrenees...
