Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

This nearly slipped through the net!
I expect it's just me being half asleep but I you are considering using Tesco ClubCard points against a POSL booking, you may be interested to know this. When I was checking out the Clubcard options i noticed this against the POSL page in the Tesco ClubCard brochure and on the web site.

If you have been saving your Clubcard Vouchers for P&O Ferries Travel Tokens, you must have ordered your Tokens by 17th November and made your booking by 30th November 2007. nb. P&O Irish Sea is unaffected.
I've used these for several years and I wasnt planning to book until December when I'd finalised my trip dates. I'd missed this restriction.
I wonder, does this mean the end for POSL accepting these vouchers?

, yes, i suspect it does. Pity. We used to use them for Portsmouth/Le havre, but that service has stopped. We now use them on eurotunnel though, and I hope that deal doesn't get withdrawn.

Well, I'm getting my outbound ferry arranged this month so I should be OK. I'm doing Hull to Zeebrugge, rather than the Calais option. From the postings on snowheads many do rely on the Clubcard and ferry option, so guys book well ahead. I phoned Tesco today and they confirmed the POSL offer will close on these dates.
