Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

First snow of the season at Whistler

Quote:
A week after the end of summer, Mother Nature is switching gears to bring winter to the mountains in a major way. Whistler Blackcomb received its second dusting of snow in a week this weekend, with up to 30cm of snow falling in the alpine on Saturday night; the snowline making it all the way to the valley. Another 18cm of snow is expected in the next 24 hours with more forecast throughout the week.

Mother Nature has dumped over 80 centimetres of snow on Whistler Blackcomb in the last 48 hours bringing the mountain’s snow base to 108 centimetres/43 inches.

The Environment Canada Alpine Forecast is calling for a small reprieve from the intense weather tomorrow and Wednesday before storms pummel the mountains again on Thursday and Friday with 20-40 centimetres forecasted.

Yes he certainly does. I meant it is designated as a (mountain) bike trail, with a bike trail name, as opposed to the name "Bike Trail"......

It's not a designated ski trail wink

Whistler Mountain will open early

Whistler Mountain will open on Saturday Nov 17 with access from the Whistler Village and Creekside base areas. The Whistler Village Gondola, Creekside Gondola, the Emerald Express, Franz’s Chair and the Big Red Express are all scheduled to open.

A rail park will be set up in the Emerald Express Habitat Park area. Jumps, more rails and other terrain park features will be added as the snow falls and more terrain is opened.

Blackcomb Mountain will open on Thursday November 22. Guest Relations locations at Creekside, Village Gondola and the Blackcomb Daylodge will be open and ready to assist passholders and guests. To keep up to date on snowfall and terrain and lift openings, skiers and riders should check out www.whistlerblackcomb.com.

as an interested bystander (visiting Whistler in March), may I ask what Supergroups are please....? hoping it might be some good lessons recommendations...

The Supergroups program is like a halfway house between group lessons (max of 8 people), and a private.

Lots of highly focussed individual feedback and attention, max group size of 3.

So lots of skiing, and talking mainly reserved for the chairlift ride (the whole class fits onto a quad!)

If you go at the right time of season, you could get 40% off the price.

Shame there was no sound or we would hear some classic Murray Camp coaching, "S*****, get your ass down here you pecker-head".
