Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I played it many years ago in October after skiing in the morning, pleasant little course but a bit difficult 1st time round because they had taken all the flags out as the season had 'finished'. Meant there was no-one to collect any money though. Very Happy Very Happy

pompeymanc, anything I should be aware of? (I know Tignes - I meant in relation to the chalet itself)

The chalet was brand new apparently for the 06-07 season, ours had a small hot tub and sauna on the ground floor and slept 10 in twin rooms. 1 and 2 are basically a large building split into two. I think Annapurna 2 was the larger of the two, but how big I'm not quite sure. It was pretty much on the edge of Tignes Le Lac as I remember, a little walk uphill from the bus stop going away from the centre.

Anyway it was pretty comfortable and I had a very nice week there... hope you do too.

Which side of le Lac is it on (i.e. which piste does it border?)

Hmmm... I think you could ski back down to it via access from the drag lifts adjacent to the Palafour lift... it was only an end bit of nursery slope that I used to get home though as it was my first week...

If its any help, it was a walk through a road tunnel to get to the centre of Le Lac itself....
