Poster: A snowHead

One of these
A Forcefield Pro L2 Back Protector brand new in box.
Worth about £90 (though commonly knocked down to £80)
I bought it for £53
I decided its better to be safe than sorry, and I might want one at some point during the season, so therefore, buying one cheap, now, was a good idea.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Always a good idea. Hope you don't sweat much though, there seems to be no ventilation...

parlor, the hard protection is an open plastic mesh and the softer under construction is ventilated through this.

Nice buy. But you failed to mention where you got it from. Back of lorry or retailer?

Ebay. I heard word that a guy won a couple in a ski competition and was selling them on ebay. So I kept my mouth shut and bagged one myself

Masque, I found this wasn't enough. I'm on my third round of upper body armour, the only one that breathes enough for me to be comfortable has holes through the plastic too. I sweat. Badly.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Those back protectors are a really good idea.
Mr Snowy wears one and has been saved on more than one occasion; the last time being when he tried to step onto the bus while still kitted up, slipped on some ice and smacked straight onto his back...

I did some consulting work at Forcefield and i can vouch that their product is technically very good and engineered from first principles.
