Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Haglofs

I don't sell this kit but when somthing good happens it's worth shouting about. Last year I bought a Haglofs Helium Jacket Directly from Haglofs UK. Great jacket, 3 layer goretex.

At the EoSB I noticed the seam tape comming away slightly in the right cuff. Not really a big deal but last month thought I'd give haglofs a call to see how I can sort it so it doesn't get worse.

They asked for the Jacket back, sent it to Sweden where it was repaired to new condition and had it back to me within 3 weeks with no questions asked, all they said was that they were just sorry it had happened. (and it didn't really bother me in the first place)

So Great kit that I believe is in the top run of technical clothing and even better customer service.

Nice Very Happy

TexMurphy, only if a) you're in Sweden and b) you're Swedish Twisted Evil

You don't see it in France (well, Chamonix or Morzine), Italy (Champoluc) or Switzerland (Geneva ) that often and it looks like excellent value for money from what I've seen (at least compared to Arc'teryc, Mountain Hardwear, Patagucci, et al.)

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I've only seen Haglofs kit at Val Thorens, nowhere else, and that was being modeled by kiwi1! Maybe I don't spend enough time with Swedes?

C'mon some of them are wearing Peak Performance and a few J Lindebergs. Swedish punters seem very native brand loyal.

fatbob, nothing wrong with Peak Performance, although I am at a loss as to what technical purpose rhinestones serve on gore-tex ski pants Puzzled

Haglöfs is a great quality brand no doubt but not sure Id say value for money... imho Tierra is much better value for money...

Peak Performance is more a flashy brand where as Haglöfs is more the "hiker crowd brand". Peak is imho less value for money then Haglöfs even though they still make good stuff.

J Lindeberg is a "bratt brand".... usually the people you see in J Lindeberg outfits have matching skis with the outfits and cant ski worth poo-poo... they are also most often seen hanging near a Park but never in it or at the After Ski flashing credit cards...

I have fantasies about actually pusing J Lindeberg equiped skiers into the pist just to see what happens...
