Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well with a frost forecast for most of UK tonight - I thought I'd have a look at the web cams for signs of winter snowHead

A lot of them in France are from the last image of last season in April - any clues on when they will be live again?

Cant wait for the new snow watching season. Thought there was more drama than an england v germany penalty shoot out. Unfortunately last year it was all a bit 'chris waddle' - this year who knows.....

I've been watching the VT 360 web cam for a couple of years, two or three times a day even when it's dark. rolling eyes I have noticed over two seasons that when the end is near and the snow is looking a bit dodgy they pull the live feed and put a christmas style rosy faced people photo up and then come back to grass with all the white stuff gone, almost like they don't want you to see the resort undressing. Shocked The summer was short this year and not many people came to stay, the tennis courts were hardly used and the nets were taken down early, they did have heavy snow at one point, I wonder if this is an omen for the coming season. Very Happy I've watched the seasons come and go, come and go, but next year I'm going to be standing on the white stuff waving at that bloody camera, who needs an official photographer when you can get it for free. Toofy Grin But until then I will be looking at the grass and I hope to see the first sprinkling of snow soon, very soon.

Boris, same here love to watch the seaons change in Les Arcs, they were on all last Summer and knew every blade of grass. I am hoping they will turn them on in October and we will get to see the first snows of the Winter come in (though October may be a bit optomistic for that Laughing )

Really need to find Alpe d'Huez one since couldn't get a good deal for Tignes this year for NY.

Mayrhofen no use to me this year either (other than for the joy of watching it snow) persuaded the boys to do St Anton this year.

Would Courmayeur be good last week in March?
