Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Female,
Are there any downsides to the lab? Apart from price? These will be my first race skis was wondering if the labs might be a bit of a handful.

juice, The SL LAB 155 is a female specific ski.
If you can get deals on Salomon kit a third possibility would be the LAB 155 + Smartrak system. The FIS regulations have changed this season so that J1 boys can use 155cm slalom skis, this ski targets their weight range.
It could be worth contacting Davee Mercer to get his opinion on which LAB variant to buy for your weight.

juice,
I asked the exact same question about a month ago!! The advice I was given was the SL LAB, but the people who gave the advice have seen me ski. I've also bought it with the APM in mind. I think if you are good enough to be doing the TT, then go for the LAB.
When are you doing the APM? I've just booked in for March in Saas Grund, I think skimottaret is on the same course.
