Bonsoir all
Does anyone know if L2A has any cross-country trails please? I have checked the resort website and there doesn't appear so, but have I missed it? Thanks in advance

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Anniepen, I don't think so, but then I haven't spent a lot of time there. Loads over the Col du Lauteret in Serre Chevalier, and some up near La Grave too.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Not that I'm aware of. If it's the area you're interested in there are a couple of smaller resorts close by as Helen Beaumont says such as Col du Lauteret and Col d'Ornon. Had a quick peek at Alpe D'Huez web site to check it out just now - interesting they support English French and Chinese languages now. Could be a cunning ploy to get early access to new money? Leave the Russians to Courcheval Maybe I see a new thread coming.

Anniepen, There used to be, but not any more. There is still the possibility to go either round the circuit at the Venosc end of town or do the tracks in the woods at the Mont de Lans end, but neither is likely to be prepared. I would have to say 'no' unless the person is very experienced and doesn't require a pisted track.
pistedude, and people wonder why I'm defensive! I've never lied about what we have.
