Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

There is the sadistic element to getting on the wife has not yet sussed and that is making sure you are slightly in front of the other person getting on so when the lift comes round at 2000mph it takes her calves out not mine Blush Laughing

Helen Beaumont, How old was your child when it happened? How did it happen? How to prevent it happening?
I'm taking my youngest away in March and this is something that I'm REALLY worried about. Did you see it happening? What a nightmare, hope you got a stiff drink afterwards.

It is a great chair for:
Appreciating the quickness of the slow La Rosiere lifts
Reading the first half of War & Peace
Having lunch

A shame as it is a very handy lift to catch

 You know it makes sense.

Near the start, so no real injuries, apart from a few bruises, although I blamed the lifties at the time, as they did nothing to help and when it bashed him, he fell forwards, onto a nasty metal grill. Prevention? I think our lack of experience , and hubby's nervousness about taking the children on the lift was partly to blame, we weren't too good at getting on them ourselves. So if you are a more experienced skier, it shouldn't be a problem. Put them nearest the inside, and lift them on if necessary. After that, we asked the lifties to slow the chairs down, and they usually did. I think he was about 7.

ickabodblue, like Helen , We had a similar experience with our youngest in Zell am Zee. If possible try and stick to the newer detachable chairs. So much easier, and so many more about these days.

But, near Vega chair, you have the fastest lift of La Plagne : the Funiplagne. In my opinion, the Vega chair will be removed and not replaced...

true but I just get sick of taking my skis on and of to get on gondolas. If in Plagne centre and want to get back to Belle Plagne it is the way via chairlift. Looking at a piste map, taking out Vega would leave a gaping hole. Anyway what would we have to moan about then......the speed fo the new chairs....... snowHead snowHead

By the way great news and photos up on your site. You have persuaded me that next summer we head out to the area for our holiday.

The Vega chair last season was not open on most Saturdays and a couple of times seemed to be closed at lunchtime.
