Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A group of about 12 friends would like to go somewhere like Meribel, and stay in a chalet in March next year. All aged late 20s, early 30s, no kids with them, mixed ability, fairly good access to nightlife. Does anyone have any chalet recommendations?
cheers

Nope, but I can tell you one to avoid: "Fleur des Alpes" with Skiworld. A fine place, as long as you don't expect the electrics and plumbing to work!
NB My visit was a couple of years ago now so they might have started employing maintenance staff, who knows?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Chalet Chardonnet with Neilson's sleeps 16. You don't have to book the whole chalet and as kids aren't allowed. This means you won't have to put up with somebody else's if strangers take the extra rooms. Bus stop opposite to take you to the Chaudanne and a ten minute walk to town.
I was going to look at Chalet Victoria which is a new one with Ski Total. We've had a couple of chalet holidays with Total and have been impressed.
Book the ski lockers at the Chaudanne!

, some of the Meribel chalets are a very long walk from the nightlife, so check the location carefully. And don't go the first week in March if you don't want to be surrounded by kids.
