Poster: A snowHead

Has anyone any experience of 'board in a day' lessons at Tamworth. Thinking of doing it.
I'm already a pretty acomplished skier but my son will eventually want to board when older. I'm bored during summer hols so was thinking of going up to do a 'board in a day' day.
Obviously i know its only gonna give me the very basics, but is it worth it? Idea being i'd practise recreationally in tamworth/xscape over period of months and have lessons perhaps at easter in France.
Thanks

garethjomo, did it years ago, well worth it. You'll ache like hell the next day , though.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

garethjomo, me too - though I did it at Xscape at Millton Keynes. I ached for a week. A good day out though, and I learnt enough to know that I wanted to continue.

garethjomo, don't forget to wear butt protection. It's harder than the fluffy stuff.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

garethjomo, your first few days learning to board in the Alps would be similar slopes to those you find in the domes, so well worth it I would say.

My mate has just done his level one lesson and is raring to go for the rest. Wishes he'd spent the dosh and done it in a day instead.
