Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Could anyone reccommend a hotel in Mayrhofen that will cater for 4 adults and a 9 month old? been looking in the Inghams brochure and they all look ok but opinions would be greatly received.

4 years ago stayed at the Manni sport , with friends and thier 5 and 7 year old boys. Excellent hotel and welcome. Rooftop swimming pool, about 250m from Penken base station. Food was excellent. Can't remember seeing a lot of infants, but the slightly larger rooms had plenty of space for a cot. They had "kiddy" beds in them.

Sparkygirl, I've stayed at the Hotel Neuhaus which was really good value for money for a 4 star - great food, although not walking distance to the Gondola in ski boots. It was only 1 min from the bus stop and train station though. The rooms in their annex over the road were huge. I think we booked through Crystal or Thomson. There were lots of families there.

Hayls, i will second that, Neuhaus is a fantastic hotel, and one of the cheapest 4* hotels in Europe. Great pool, sauna and jacuzzi, bowling alley, pool table, table tennis table, all for less than £500 Madeye-Smiley

Will third the Neuhaus.
Food was good, but iirc it was recommended to stock up the plate with salad at the self-serve buffet. One of our guys was a no-show, so we persuaded the waiter to bring us an extra plate of fries to share between the three of us for each meal, and since it was pre-paid half board, he had little choice but to willingly oblige Wink
Can't comment on the child friendliness, other than the fact that I do recall children there in the dining room at breakfast.

I'll second Manni Sport - great hotel and food. And good outdoor/indoors swimming pool on the roof Very Happy

i stayed in the hotel rose in 2006 and booked again for next march - food was excellent, people friendly - about a five minute walk to the penkenbahn so not too bad and is not in the noisy end of town (which will help your nine month old get some sleep!)
