The aim is for China to enter its first ever mogul skiers into the Freestyle FIS World Cup next season, and their ultimate target is to take part in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
The team has been working with Canadian National Team coaches both on snow and at the Canadian team’s water ramp training facility at Blackcomb Mountain. ...Four of the athletes are in the Alpine program and one is from Ski Jumping, and all have already had success in China. The youngest, Wen Mengying, is one of the top junior skiers in the country and one of the men, Liu Peihua, is the top Chinese super-G skier.
