Slightly off topic but I know a lot of you seem to know Geneva quite well.
Gonna be in Geneva for one night in a couple of weeks and was wondering if any of you know somewhere good to stay .. preferably near the nightlife .. nothing to wild (what am I saying .. this is Switzerland) - just a few beers and something to eat.
We're flying in early'ish on a Friday night and are going to pick up a car at the airport so parking would be handy as well altho' not essential.

thanks boredsurfin, good idea .. loads of matches but mainly talking about flights there or transfers from there to the mountains .. slightly more specific search ('Geneva accomodation') not helping either

Frosty the Snowman, definately especially if you can get the room for £80 B&B, the breakfast almost makes it a bargain by itself.

RichA, try an expedia search and find somewhere near the Paquis area (between the central station and the lake or out towards Carouge).

Yep - thats where we stayed - excellent hotel and breakfast ! Just opposite the airport - free pick up and return.
