Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

No it hasn't. APM isn't a race coach qualification.

From the Snowsport Scotland website:
Quote:
From July 2007 the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) will be taking over the administration of the APC award. For information on the award and upcoming course dates please contact BASI on 01479 861 717 or basi@basi.org.uk.

rjs, I stand corrected. I was thinking in relation to the Thread title, in terms of progress though BASI to Ski Teacher, the APC will be no longer recognised and has been replaced by the APM Module.
BASI are also setting up BASC (British Assc of Ski Coaches) which will lead on from the APM module to cover Race Coaching at club and national level.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Spyderman, BASI haven't set up any new coaching association yet though. People need to know course dates now so that they can plan for next season.

I was thinking of doing a couple of the Sports Coach UK courses this summer, but don't want to pay for them unless they still count towards APC2 or whatever replaces it.

That acronym seems to be already taken anyway.
