Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I was wondering if anyone knows what sort of price a season lift pass would cost for the Portes De Soleil area next year, I cant seem to find much info on the website.

wonderwoman, Providing you are not either a "Senior" or "Enfant" the season price is €724 for the entire PdS. If you are lucky enough to have a property there you can save a little, €571 for the season.

I may be wrong but if you can prove residency (as opposed to actually owning in Morzine) is there not a similar discount ? I think there was a couple of years ago, these things are not often well advertised IME.

You have to own a property in the areas served by the lift company SERMA. These are the PdS resorts, they have a listing of proprietors. We had to show our letter from the management company the first year as the computer system still showed a French owner instead of a paddy! Still it was worth it.
