Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The Latest book is at http://www.givois.com covering the 3 valleys.

Some nice off piste route for you too begin with would be Col Pierre Lory, Lac de Lou , Combe de sans nombe, but there is so much in the area and really because it depends so much on the conditions you really need to wait till you get there before planning your days.
I can give you the contact details of the guys I use via esf in Les Menuires Paul Conte, Paul was an excellent instructer and guide who I hired privatly for the last week of the season. But if you want to explore the Glaciers you need a mountain guide Jean Luc brother in law of paul is the man.

Hope this helps !

Regards Mark

the ice perv, There appears to be loads of easy off piste from the top of The St Martin chair back down towards St Martin. I would think that worth looking into.

Frosty the Snowman, "appears" is the operative word there, loads of great off piste there BUT a lot of those routes take you into dips and bowls that you have to hike out of.......
