Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Atomic Skis have announced that "Hermann Maier will not be part of the Atomic Racing Team anymore in the 2007/08 season ." This is fairly old news actually. However, it serves to highlight the very sorry sales the ski brands have made for next season. I understand Atomic are letting 700 people go. Some racers are being asked to pay for their gear.

Just think, if Atomic had outsourced manufacture to China like Head has done they could have let EVERYONE go and kept Maier.
