Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

But yesterday I had such a great time on the trails in the Rheintal by Garmish that I thought I should share some of the impressions with those of you who are interested in mountains and stuff...

Most of the trail looks something like this Toofy Grin

And this

To ride them you need something like this Cool

The Rheintal from the end of the valley, looking back down towards Garmisch ( sort of )

I was slightly shocked to see the flood damage from Aug 2005. Last time I was here this was a green pasture... Shocked

That should give some impression of the kind of biking that you can do here in Bavaria. Will post more pics of my further quest Cool

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Frosty the Snowman, musta been a lot of bikers since last time I was there! But seriously, the lanscape has been radically changed by those floods. There used to be a blue lagoon just below the end of the valley. No longer there. Just a big pile of rubble and you can more or less still make out where the natural dam that created the lagoon used to be.
