Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hermann Maier joins Head?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
From the Austrian press:

The 34-year-old Austrian, who finished a disappointing 19th in the 2006-07 overall standings after losing his first-seed positions in both downhill and giant slalom, is in negotiations with equipment suppliers. Currently he is testing Head skis and considering leaving his hometown manufacturer Atomic. His contract with Atomic expired April 30. Maier needs to decide between the manufacturers by August. Although Atomic offered him another 2-year-contract, they do not seem to be nervous about Maier's leave. They said: "Last season we won 41 WC races and have an excellent young team. We would be more than satisfied with winning about 30 races a season and our budget has its limit."
If H. Maier joins Head, he will be in the same team with Bode Miller again.

Following this morning's huge news that Maier has left Atomic, HEAD Skis announced that the alpine icon just completed an intense testing and negotiation phase, and announced today that he will go into the skiing season 2007/08 with HEAD as his official material provider, where he will join US ski star Bode Miller.
