Last Wednesday I took the afternoon off skiing to visit Smallzookeeper to see if he could help sort out the burning and tingling I was suffering in my right foot. I was fully expecting to have to get new footbeds molded at the very least. However after inspecting and flexing my foot he said that there was nothing wrong with the boot or existing footbeds, the problem was a lack of flex in my ankle. He fitted some cork inserts in the heels and made some adjustments to the boots and told me to try them like that. The improvement was instant Smile

Despite the amount of time he spent I was only charged for the cork inserts.

Don, who was with me was impressed enough to buy a pair of Garmont boots, the footbeds were molded that night but a L'pool v Chelsea match took priority, so 9am the following morning the inners were molded. That afternoon several trails of winge could be seen on the slopes coming down from Grands Montets rolling eyes

But the following morning after slacking the clips one turn, peace returned to the slopes Smile

he said that he has never experienced such a positive fit before.

So thanks for your help again, the beers were much appreciated

Dypcdiver, wish i'd known. i had the circulation to my toes cut off for three days. took my boots to the shop and had to have them widened. it helped but i still had the problem later in the day.
