Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

jasonc, If you are over 30 you can get a Masters licence and enter the events on the FIS calendar. There is a training week run by the British group before the race in Courmayeur. There is some more info here.

A fair number of the British organized snow races in Scotland or the Alps are open to Senior racers as well as Juniors & Children.

Hi
I have only just found 'Snowheads' following a link from another site -
I have had great fun reading your blogs about the summer racing and it also brought back some memories of the ERSA league and also Aldershot as well - my daughter hasn't done any regionals this year - shame
Thanks for the laughs....

congratulations all of you for a great season's reports, your trophies and improvements. I've really enjoyed reading this thread. Now we just need to get a few more of the 'training' snowheads involved and the Snowheads RAce Team may not be all that far away! Very Happy Very Happy

On that thought are there many winter races around a similar level that a snowHead team could just turn up and do?

FenlandSkier, What level are you looking for ? There isn't that much difference between a Chamois slalom and a FIS Masters one.

GrahamN, sorry i thought your mantra was shorter is better, if you are on 155's i would have thought 144 would be okay for beanie1 (who is fairly slight) but if they are kiddy skis maybe not so good....

Hello hello, just found i've been discussed!!

In in the end i've bought Head World Cup SL Team in 151 with Rail Flex binding 3 -11, race department. They are junior skis but i'm only using them on plastic and the shop felt the race department skis would be fine for me.

Will see how they go!!
