Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

From the Metro:

"Earlier this year, a report released
by some of Europe's best known ski
resorts recommended that any resort
below an altitude of 1,500m
(5,000ft), which includes all of Scotland's
ski fields, should not focus on
skiing as its main attraction."

Funnily enough they moderated my comment out of existance. Why let the actual facts get in the way of a good story? I guess though there isnt any snow to ski on in Sweden or Norway now either? rolling eyes

Embarassed Embarassed Sorry! You're right, nothing too serious but last week I had to explain myself out of small hole caused by an ignorant journalist entirely mis-understanding/mis-representing something I said in a conference recently.

brian, a very similar report appeared in one of the "broadsheets" back in Jan.

Oddly enough I read the article on a flight back from Geilo in Norway at the time, having spent a great week skiing. Including two wonderful powder days.

Geilo resort height: 800m.

Enough said really. Cool
