Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
I'm looking for a ski helmet for my Mekon headed son. Childrens helmets are too small, adult helmets don't appear to look like a great fit.
Any Ideas?
tnx

Hi Bob.
This season I did a adults size helmet that is fully adjustable to make it fit smalled heads by way of a dial. I haven't got any left but am bringing in another 50 for next season.
If you still haven't found one by the August I'm happy to post you one just to see if the adjustable harness works for your son.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I think my hubby's bike helmet has a similar system to adjust the size.

, I feel your pain - my 5 year old is now in large-sized youth ski helmet from RED and small adult bike helmet. He also appears to be deliberately trying to grow to be the same height as his 11 yr old brother.
Giro Omen ski helmet has a twist adjuster I think - a bit like those on many bike helmets, but is at the costly end of their range
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

, My Omen has the wheel adjuster although once set you leave it at the required size, great helmet but a bit effin' expensive!. I don't know if any others in the Giro range have this feature?
