I'm trying to arrange a last weekend before the season closes but its looking like it will be last weekend in april or the 1st in may. Where will still be open at those sorts of dates?

Should be lots of choices that late in the season. Send a message to Stewart Woodward or Mrs W who are based in Tignes.

End of season weeks aren't a problem, its finding weekends that seems to be a struggle.

I went to hintertux for the May bank holiday a few years ago but we only got to ski one day cos it was closed most of the time due to blizzard conditions.
