We are trying our best to introduce a routine already...it's not easy but we hope things will be a bit better 5 months down the line!

smudger, IMHO 2 weeks is quite early to have a full routine established. We didn't get into the swing of it until around 8 weeks and even then it was only the bedtime routine (bath, bottle, bed). Our little one was sleeping through by 11 weeks so it didn't do any harm. Go with the flow and by 5 months the routine will be sorted.

Thanks everyone! The smudgette has only woken once a night for the last two...we are hoping this will be a common trend!
I forgot to add that we have managed to convince my sister to join us on the ski trip too. We are giving her a small cash incentive to do this too which hopefully equals more time on the slopes for me and Mrs Smudger
