I know people who have done it, sounds great, more for skiers than boarders though.
I'll be spending a lot of time up there this summer, managed to get me a jungfraubahn train pass

High Alpine ski tour Jungfraujoch – Lötschenlücke at a promotional price
Every Saturday and Sunday from mid-March to mid-May, qualified mountain guides lead nature-loving skiers on an unforgettable high-Alpine tour, from the Jungfraujoch via Concordiaplatz to the Lötschenlücke followed by a downhill run to Blatten in Lötschental. On Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 March 2007, 150 skiers can take part in this one-day tour at the special promotional price of CHF 145 instead of CHF 195.

More importantly you need to have a lot of stamina, skill wise if you can handle off piste and have used skins before you will be fine

telford_mike, I have done this several times. The DHO or Ski Club rep used to organise a day tour with a guide. It is a superb day out in good weather. The run down to Concordiaplatz is flat and easy with beautiful glacial scenery. From there it is a good 3 hour + skin up a gentle slope and you learn very quickly to keep a steady pace - no heroics! The guide usually stops a few times and the ski down to Blatten is great and the beer at the bottom very welcome. Getting back to Wengen is a bit time consuming.

Forgot to mention - you can hire touring adapters for your normal bindings plus skins from any of the sports shops and any good intermediate skier who is fit can do it. Take a camera, picnic, lots of sun cream and protect your head especially on the climb.

Good sunglasses are also a must the glare on the Glacier can be incredible
