Broke my collarbone in half 7 weeks ago its mending well so the doc say, want to get back on a board in three weeks time so it will have had 10 weeks ?? Anyone else have a similar experiance,im gagging to get back in the powder BTW I know its only advice so no responsibility for the replies eh

Hubby broke his collarbone 3 weeks ago. So I can't give any advice to you but will be interested in other's advice. Should have been going away this Saturday but luckily hadn't booked anywhere.

My friend just broke his collar bone snowboarding and he had to get all this metal crap in it

EakoWarrior, it might indeed look like Alastair's collarbone (clavicle) has broken in two places, but in fact one of those "breaks" is the acromioclavicular joint.
Here is an xray of a normal shoulder, and here is a diagram of the shoulder girdle.
