Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Child Care in Arcs 2000?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
HI All,
We're going to Les Arcs 2000 for 10 days early April (5-15th)...does anyone know if there are any child care services around? My son will be 9-10 months old so not quite ready to go into ski school! It would be nice to be able to ski with my wife at least once. We will have pals there with kids who could look after him for an afternoon...but just wondered if there was any child care services established there.

Must have been to Les Arcs a hundred times...but never had to consider such things before!!

Cheers,

Nigel

DrBullet, have a look at http://www.safehandsfrance.com/ I haven't used them myself, but they were recommended to me (by the chalet owner) when I was considering a chalet holiday there. You can get a private nanny for around £500 the week.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

DrBullet, try the Childcare section of the web site - sure there is a nursery there. FWIW we used the nursery in Vallandry last year and year before and it was very good. While (obviously) mainly French speakers, they spoke English to our daughter and she loved it there.

http://www.lesarcs.com/Child-day-care-Arc-2000 would seem to be the link
