Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

American Indians win fight against Arizona Snowbowl

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
A federal appeals panel have blocked Arizona Snowbowl’s plan to make artificial snow by spraying treated wastewater on mountains that Indian tribes consider sacred. In a unanimous ruling, a three-judge panel overturned a lower court ruling from January 2006 that would have let the ski resort proceed with the snowmaking and other upgrades. ...Thirteen tribes, along with environmentalists, had appealed the decision. They said using wastewater, no matter how clean, would offend deities and spiritually contaminate herbs and other plants used for medicine and religious ceremonies.

In the decision, Judge William A. Fletcher wrote that water purity was central to the Indians’ practices and that the plan would violate the Religious Freedom and Restoration Act, which is intended to protect the free exercise of religion.

Marc t'Mosher, interesting. I've just done a back-of-an-envelope calculation. Suppose you produced a pint of, ahem, "waste water". After a time, it is evenly distributed through all the oceans of the world, from which you extract a pint from some random spot. You will scoop up more than a billion molecules from your original waste. Shocked

This has got to be about more than 'waste water' surely?
