Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Not having any kids, but having to babysit those all you lot produce, I only ever get to go during school holidays. How about doing us teachers a favour and keeping them at home for a week or two, let us get some uncrowded skiing in.

Hmmm:
I may have a look at getting a four day trip in over next Easter weekend... Fly out Thursday night and come back monday night. Does anyone know how easy it would be to get accomadation for four nights at that time of year? Id probably be looking at somewhere high in France, Tignes, Val Thorens, or L2A possibly...

Am i right in thinking it wont be as full as it would usually be because there's no actual school holidays?

Its the only possibility i have of getting any skiing next year Sad

It will be school holidays for some UK local authority areas over the Easter, and also probably the independent schools. So there'll be a fair few Brit kids (but not many Londoners). I don't know about the French schools - though I find there aren't so many of them at Easter anyway - a bit of slush and they run to the Med. They're a bit the same in August, if there's a cloud in the sky they stay indoors and we get the town pool to ourselves.
