Ok, ok, its my first post so please be gentle. I'm in Les Deux Alpes next week (can't wait) but need to get over to St Martin de Belleville for the day mid week. I cant find any information on car hire actually within the resort itself. Does anybody know of a company in LDA that they would recommend? Many thanks!

Welcome to Snowheads FSI. I just got back from LDA and to be honest, I'm not sure it is big enough to have a car hire place. Your best bet would be from the airport I would say. However, there are a few resident LDA experts here and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

There isn't one. However, the Renault garage in Bourg d'Oisans has a CarGo franchise. You can get to Bourg from LDA easily by bus.

I had great skiing there a few weeks ago. For local supermarkets 'Marche U' is better than the local Spar shop. For lip balm Marche U is almost half the price of the pharmacy. FSI and Debbie please tell us what the Apres is like. When I was there the night life was quite dead until after midnight.

ooh blimey, I hope not, I'm normally in bed/three sheets to the wind by then. Guess I'll have to water down the green and purple drinks early doors and see if I can last the distance. One more sleep to go.....

I think the liveliness varies from week to week, just depends on who is there. Have a great time if you're going soon.
