Planning an end of season trip (they both close on may 8th) Have been to val thorens at the end of the season before and it was ok, but i suspect tignes is probably better due to the larger glacier. Anyone been there this late?

Have been to Tignes once in first week of May don't know if conditions were typical but we had a great time could ski most of the area. Though off the glacier it became a little soft in the afternoon.

Have not been in Tignes that late myself, but good friends skied powder on easter w/e last season. You cant go wrong by going to Tignes at that time of the year.
