Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Twinner Sports Les Arcs - 30% off rental deal - advice please.

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,

Does anyone have experience of Twinner Sports in Les Arcs 2000?

They have an online deal: 30% off at the end of the season, so looking at 93 euro for 6 days advanced ski/boot.

I don't know the prices in France (usually ski Canada/US) - is this a good deal?

are they cool about swapping if there are problems?

thanks

holidayloverxx, No experience of using them in Les Arcs but have used them in La Ros. They were very efficient and had good quality kit. Can't remember what we paid but 93e seems reasonable for advanced equipment

Twinner usually fine but haven't used that particular one. Its a good but not spectacular price, and yes they are usually fine about exchanging for other skis (although if you go up a class obv will charge the difference) aj xx

holidayloverxx,
I recently paid 90e for one weeks hire of skis only if that is any help, not a great price but satellites in resorts are a bit of a captive market.

thanks for your help, it's cheaper than rates advertised at other suppliers on the Les Arcs website. Methinks this is becoming affordable....

a.j. If I can improve sufficiently to move up a class it will be worth paying the extra (as well as a being a minor miracle!).
