erm, that was weird. Cool though - definitely comfortable with slats of wood on his feet.

I saw quite a few kids on snowblades doing this at LDA last year.

this kid's comfortable in skis. Some sense of balance - who needs an outside ski??

If I sat down like that on skis I wouldn't be able to get back up.
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Saw several boarders with narrow boards (is there a name for them?) with feet angled more foreward than usual, doing that at Zinal (next to Grimentz) last week on a smooth, steepish piste. Looked interesting but a bit strange.

Gosh the snow in the first video is so awesome white and powdery that it's a bit depressive watching the harder greyer granular quality of the snow in the 2nd video!
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yup, that looks like it, but the slope I saw them on was probably steeper.
But it was all about style (and they did look good): a few skiers were going past them at quite a lick (and to be fair perhaps they could have gone faster too).
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

snowball, I think you're referring to "Skwal"s (Squalls?)
doesn't anyone else think the first guy's weight is too much on his inside ski? Look how his outside one's breaking away and flapping around...
