Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cheap Base Layer

Called in at Decathlon (just off J26, M1) yesterday after some long sleeve wicking base layer shirts. I've already got some wicking T shirts and wanted some long sleeve versions but didn't want to pay the £20-30 top brand prices I'd seen in all the leading stores.

Nothing much in their skiing section but found a bargain tucked away in their running section - long sleeved/round neck wicking shirts by Domyos (I'd never heard of them either) using 'Novadry 1' fabric. Label says recommended for cycling, running & skiing etc.

Bought half a dozen @ £8.49 each! They also had a T shirt version @ £6.99 each as well as the usual running vest style.

I wore one this morning for 30 minutes hard slog on my newly acquired cross training machine (Yes, I'm in training for the new season Shocked )
underneath a light sweatshirt and it worked great.

Deb was a bit hacked off though as they only had them in men's sizes - a bit like Yorkies I suppose - 'not for girls' Toofy Grin

Domyos is Decathlon's own brand. If you;re not fussy about designer names ( and who sees a base layer?) then Decathlon is excellent for stcking u on the essentials
