Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I don't know who runs this, or more specifically, who does the snow reports, but I find it an great source of info whilst I'm sat at work dreaming of the slopes. Every two days you get a new report from 'on the piste', as it were. Being a boring b%&tard, I was having a look at some of last year's archived reports and it seems that last year at this time, things were looking decidedly dicey conditions-wise. Chamonix had just had a blast of spring conditions, 7c in the town, snow melting everywhere. By the next weekend, the fog had descended, it had dropped to -6c, the Kandahar had been cancelled and some slopes were like 'bullet-proof' ice!

We then skied in March in fantastic conditions; glorious sun and great snow. So, my point is twofold: don't be put off by all of the doom and gloom, there's always snow to ski and, let's face it, not even the forecasters really know what's around the corner in terms of snow. And a big 'yay!' to the kind soul and his chamonet.com snow reports. They brighten up my day.

Agreed. I trust them totally. I like the realistic but always upbeat tone...
