Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

provenjohn, We stayed at the Sofitel next to terminal 2 last year. Great hotel and really convenient for the morning flight.
Only two slight probs we had were that you have to park your car a couple of miles away and catch a bus, you can drop off your bags first so it,s not too bad.
The other is that our internatonal flight (thompson) was from terminal two so you get a monorail but it goes straight to it.
It wasn't the cheapest option but it was a special occasion for the missus so was well worth the extra.
Job lot came to £119 inc 15 days parking

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

provenjohn, If you want cheap and cheerful the Skylane is OK. I paid £69 for overnight with 8 days parking. Good reliable transfer from Horsham which is less than 10 minutes. Food is not great though.

We stayed in the Gatwick Europa a couple of weeks ago and for two twin rooms with 8 days parking for one car it cost us £125 (just off 10a of the M23)

Nice enough hotel. Pool, Jacuzzi, gym, nice food etc but it was a little shabby in places. (carpets worn etc but everything was clean and tidy)

The transfer to the Airport is only a 5/10 ride and is scheduled for every 45 minutes on a full size bus, rather than a minibus.

Also, you leave the car in the hotel carpark and you keep the keys yourself.

Colin B, do they make you drive your car to an off-site car park in the morning or do they take you direct from the hotel?
