When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

New Skis - Advise Please

Hi,

Wonder if someone would be so kind as to offer me some advice please.

Last year I was skiing on Salomon Street Racers 6 and had a small accident, too cut a long story short the skis where a right off even though the accident was very minor. The accident that occurred shouldn’t have caused the ski to be damaged. I got a lend of a pair of Head 180's with an option to buy but I didn’t exactly warm to them. I don’t particularly want to go and buy another pair of Street Racers 6 - has anyone any recommendations as to what ski I should buy if I was comfortable on the Street Racers - is there a similar style of ski from another manufacturer?

hi i have the brand new head package from snow and rock RRP £279 i am willing to sell them for around £160 the skis are still in the plastic wrapping and bindings are not fitted but snow and rock have said that they mount the bindings for free it is the skis, bindings, boots, poles, and bag so an extremely good deal for £160
