Hello braap, welcome to snowheads, but I've never heard of this resort, have you looked at their website?

Thanks Peter.
Hochfugen is a medium resort in the Zillertall area , north of Innsbruck.
I checked the website, but it's always nice to get some personal feedback.
Cheers,

braap, Well to reassure you I'll pretend a mate of mine is just back from there and he said it's powder everywhere! But I think it's a good time to go as fresh snow arrived over Tirol at the weekend. Enjoy and post a report when you get back.

People have been saying that the HochZillertal Area has great conditions (linked to Hochfugen), so i wouldnt worry. You also have Mayrhofen up the valley which apaprently has good conditions.

braap, We were in Neiderau last week, with no snow.
The resort they took us to by bus every day (in order to get some skiing) was Kaltenbach (Hochzillertal), which is on the same lift pass as Hochfugen (next village along the valley). The skiing there was great, and got better every day. They were getting loads more snow than Neiderau was.
I only actually skiied over to the Hochfugen part of the area once, and only took the red number 1 run down to the Panorama restaurant, but that was a great (and LONG!) run, with good snow almost all the way down.

I have a friend who has just been there for a week sit sking, 20-27th Jan.
According to him the first 2 days were hard and icy but then it snowed mid week greatly improving conditions, the temp remained low for the duration of his stay.
He said it was like spiring when he got there but like winter when he left. He did not want to come home.
