Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Which Slalom Ski's shouldI buy?

Anybody got an recommendations on a top quality pair of slalom ski's? I currently ski 165cm Atomic SLII's but have shredded the bottom of one of them irrepairably so am looking to purchase a new pair. I want something of a club racing standard... not because I race but I just love the acceleration I get out of the turns and the way you can crank them over and hit the sweet spot of the ski to get a perfect fast carved turn on a short radius.... So, what should I be testing? Volkl? Saloman? The new Atomic SL12? Head?

for me the Head is really stable throughout the turn, the other thing worth a look is the nordica Dobermann slalom, or if you want a bargain look at Dynamic best prices for this type of kit in the UK is probably Bartletts in Hillingdon, they often have last years kit available at really good prices Toofy Grin

Why not try the Elan SLX. available from GBR sports. A lot of the young club racers in the UK are skiing on these now. www.gbrsports.co.uk

And no, I do not have a vested interest. I coach racers and ski on these myself, through choice.

SnowGod, Fischer World Cup SC or I have recently brought a pair of Fischer RX Fire which would certainly fit the bill saw a pair went on Ski Bilek yesterday for £197!! a bargain as they sell in the UK for well over £500

SnowGod, If you like the SL11 then I wouldn't drop down to something with more sidecut such as the Fischer WC SC.
