apparently this sort of snowfall only happens 2-10 times are year, are quite unusual and can lead to "problems".

Nice to get snow in the mountains though it's a really bright, starry night out there at the moment without even a hint of a good cloud, let alone a snowflake ) but I hope there's not too much in Geneva. I have to go down to the airport today and it doesn't take much to disrupt flights.
