MIGHTYSAINT2,
Welcome to
I'd look into getting a train to Martigny and then bussing up..or better still check out the TO's that go there and see what time their
planes get in... and them bung them money to get on board their transfer coaches

MIGHTYSAINT2, Welcome to snowHeads.
I use & can recommend Dave Evans at http://www.alpinexpress.com
His shared transfers are CH140 return & take about 1hr 45mins. The train/bus route may be cheaper but it's a real pain, often having to change trains with a long wait between trains & the bus etc, making the journey waaay longer than a transfer.
Alpinexpress do an 11.00ish depart from Geneva so if you can get that you'll be skiing in the afternoon. If you train/bus it I wouldn't count on getting to ski in the afternoon.

MIGHTYSAINT2, If you're staying just around the corner from Le Pub, you'd be best getting the train to Le Chable, involving a change at Martigny and then getting the bubble up from Le Chable. However you may be pushed to get back to GVA for 0800 using public transport. Another option if there are 3 of you is car hire which may even prove cheaper than Alpinexpress. Leave it for free in the sports centre car park in Verbier.
The train will cost £57 each if you get a Swiss Transfer ticket.

Verbier is so good in so many different ways, but don't ever get there with that alpine express people. They ripped me off and a couple of other people I know. Left me hanging at the airport for like 3 hours then when I was going back they text me the time of the bus at nightime, I rang them to cancel so I would get the train instead but they said they want 7 days notice or no refund, I was like you text me the night before!! Never got my money back.
Had one friend got left at the airport all night because the last bus left without him, even though they said they would never do it, plus the trains weren't running then
