Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello Everyone,

Where would everyone recommend this weekend?

Many thanks in advance.

how far do you want to drive? I had a good time in Obertauern pre-Xmas, it's high by Austrian standards, but is a 3-4 hour drive based on traffic, looks like there is still plenty of snow there, down to village level, they are reporting 70-100cm of snow.

Or Hochkar is alot closer, but lower down, so has a lot less open.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for the hints Greg, I will have a look at them today. I was going to use the train wherever I go. I know Saalbach will take about 5 hours, so I am sure the places you mention will be a lot closer.

Cheers.

Vetteboy77au,

A workmate was at the Reiteralm nr Schladming at the weekend and said it had good conditions although a bit of rain at lower levels pm Sat didn't improve the situation.

I'll ski with almost anybody at any level, it's all good fun.

The wife is working so could well be venturing out for a ski this weekend too. Drop me a PM if you are interested, if I go I'll have space for two more and skis in the car.
