Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Login Problems

Is there still a problem with the site? Each time I log in, I enter my username and password, press login, the screen flashes and nothing happens. When I try a second time no probs. Then when I go to the forums, there are no unread threads?

This has happened about 4 times now. What´s going on?

Cheers
Kersh

PS - Sorry if this has already been covered,

Still getting the problems, but I find that if I go to a post first - any post - and click "Login" then it takes the details first time and I can use "View posts since last visit" in the usual way Smile

All very sad. But what has it got to do with The Piste?

That said, it looks like some are having Cookie problems. I think the site is OK - I have no problems logging in with either IE7 or Firefox2.

Is there a more appropriate place for this then?

I'm having trouble too.
Works fine at work (IE7)
Doesn't work on my laptop (IE7) - worked fine before the vandalisation
Sometimes works on my home desktop (IE7) - worked fine before the vandalisation

All have the same settings for cookies.

This sort of stuff usually goes in Suggestions / Requests - I guess a complaint is a request to get something sorted wink

But if it gets moved to Suggestions then people with login problems won't be able to see it!!
It's out of place here in theory but probably the best place for it to stay for now.

Oddly perhaps, I have experienced no problems at all logging in from my Nintendo Wii, which uses a beta version of Opera. Posting from it now Smile

Still happening to me but finding this thread has reassured my paranoia about just being me having a problem - has Admin spotted this thread?

Late starter, I've still got the problem. Instead of logging in on the front screen, click on a post from the left box, then click Login from that screen. Now you can go to the index and Unread threads...
