Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Friedrichshafen to St Anton Sun 7 January am?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
This is a long shot I know, but I'm travelling on the early Ryanair flight to Friedrichshafen on Sunday (7 Jan) morning then on to St Anton. If anyone has a spare seat in a car / cab and wants save on costs, please let me know (I have no skis or boots so won't take up much space).

Thanks
James

Its no help to you but I lucked out and met somebody on the plane last time who dropped me off at StA.
I take it you have looked at the train which is relatively easy although you will have to get a train into the central station from the airport which is also easy.
There are trains with two changes for about 25 Euros takes about 2.5 hours.

bedfordblue, thanks, yes I'm planning to get the train if I can't get a lift but, as this is a short trip (I fly home Weds night), I'm keen to maximise my skiing time!

Marshboy, There is a shuttle bus at weekends which is tailored to depart following arrival of the Ryanair flights. Its 30 euros one way and I'm led to believe takes about 1.5hrs.

I'm catching it on Saturday am for the first time, so we'll see how good it is.

I honestly think this is the fastest way to St Anton at the weekend, unless you get an offer of a ride in a car, which will potentially only be a few minutes quicker.

Good luck!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I booked the train journey as two tickets as the machine in Friedrichshafen only had stations as far as Lindau. So to Lindau was €4.80 and from Lindau to St Anton was €7.50, total journey cost €12.30, much cheaper than the approx €25 quoted when you view this journey online. Not sure why it was cheaper but a little money saving tip!
