I'm no expert at reading or interpretting these detailed weather charts, but I know that there are a few on this forum who can. Can any of you please tell me what is "likely" to happen for eastern europe based on the current charts, pressure systems etc.

Well ATM the week ahead looks dry/mild and sunny.
No one knows what is going to happen for the week of the 27th so I wont pretend that I do

From the report I have got from people over in Borovets today, there has been quite a bit of snow this afternoon and tonight and the current GFS and ECMWF models are showing a much heavier dump of snow bwteen the 20th and 28th January. That's how far the models go at the moment, so, looking good really.
