Poster: A snowHead

Off to Tignes de Lac - taking my daugher with Ski Esprit - which hopefully means that I'll have most of the days free to ski (cunning plan!). Anyone else around then and would like to meet up?

stevew, sorry we didn;t get to meet, forgot to add your number to my phone and didn;t manage to get near a computer (read: took advantage of the enforced layoff to get away from the things!) all week. Apparently we only missed you by minutes in the alpaka - in fact I have a sneakly suspicion that you were on the way out as we arrived. hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did, weren't the conditions great?!

nbt, soz I missed you as well, I hadn't taken the number either and hoped to have met you at the Alpaka (Hannah was very impressed with the dog) I had a great time skiied with some chaps in the chalet hotel for the most part and thought the snow was in realy good nick all things considered - I even enjoyed skiing on some of the slushy snow at times. I only went down to Le Breviere once via the reds (it was flat light at the time and didn't fancy going down La Sache's mogul fields in it) but the stones on the red put me off going down there again - tried to sttay high but didn't manage to get upto to Le Fornet area in the latter part of the week due to bad weather and small person committments but on the Monday when we did it was very bald and icey down to the gondola station so we headed straight back for the Solais area.If you came back on Saturday you missed one of the best days of the week as it was sunny and a little colder all day, only downside is that they didn't open the GM cable car! I'll post some pics later.
