When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Results of first races of the new Tour de Ski

Munich's 70,000-seat Olympic Stadium saw the first races of the new Tour de Ski take place on Sunday. The event had been moved from the Czech resort of Nove Mesto and reduced from ten to six events because of a lack of snow. The overall time winner at the six-race cross-country event will get 400 World Cup points.
...Marit Bjorgen of Norway won the first women's race and Christoph Eigenmann of Switzerland won the first men's race. Bjorgen won the women's 0.8 kilometer freestyle race in 1:35.1. Eigenmann finished the 1.2 kilometer freestyle race in 2:04.9.
